Jeffrey Chrabaszcz is a Machine Learning Research Scientist in the CERT division of the Software Engineering Institute, where he uses statistical and machine learning concepts to improve the practice of cybersecurity. Jeffrey earned his PhD in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science at University of Maryland, College Park, where he studied memory and cognition. Prior to joining CERT, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University using Bayesian models to understand decision making in dynamic environments. He also worked as a consultant specializing in clinical trials for medical devices.
